CBP - Charities

Garvan Institute of Medical Research

CBP has decided to focus on supporting a few selected charities in order to make a major impact, rather than expanding the list but making smaller contributions. We provide support through financial and legal assistance, a workplace giving program, participation in many fundraising initiatives and the volunteer efforts of our staff.

The Garvan's groundbreaking biomedical research into diseases such as cancer and diabetes is the charity focus of the firm's Sydney office. Our recent fundraising initiatives have included a City2Surf team, a Waffle Day and selling artworks under our art program.

Wintringham Specialist Aged Care

The staff in our Melbourne office support Wintringham Specialist Aged Care, a Victorian organisation which assists older people who are vulnerable to homelessness to enjoy the options, dignity and rights other ageing Australians may take for granted. CBP supports Wintringham both through monetary support and by providing hampers at Christmas time. We are currently also working to establish a volunteer program for our Melbourne staff with Wintringham.
