John Bowman leads the Commercial & Corporate group. He has extensive knowledge of corporations law and the Australian Stock Exchange listing rules and has acted in regard to a large number of mergers, acquisitions, prospectuses and information memoranda.

John has acted on prospectuses for several public companies and initial public offerings, and for public companies raising additional funds in the market. On a number of occasions, John has been the chairman of the due diligence committee for IPOs and devised and documented the due diligence process.

John was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1976. He is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court and High Court of Australia. John joined CBP as a partner in 1998.
