James Neal is a senior associate in the Construction & Engineering Group. His expertise includes appearing in the Supreme, District, Local and Federal Courts and the Consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal. James is referred to in The Legal 500 (2010 Edition), Construction editorial section as "highly recommended".

James’s practice is focused on all forms of dispute resolution and particularly on alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration. He is also involved in advising on contract documentation and project risk allocation. His expertise extends to all matters related to the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999.

James was admitted as a solicitor in 2002. He joined CBP in 2004.
