A Senior Associate at CBP, Michael has a broad range of experience in handling large and complex commercial and insurance disputes including large scale litigation.

He brings practical and strategic thinking to difficult matters, making them understandable, manageable and solvable.

Michael's major work has included:

• class actions (shareholder, securities and property loss)
• recovery actions
• banking disputes
• securities and investments litigation
• insurance (directors & officers and professional negligence)
• contract disputes

Michael was a part of the defence team which resolved a large shareholder class action brought against a prominent ASX listed company. He is currently acting and advising in relation to a number of large pieces of litigation including multiple class actions and other complex litigation.

Admitted in the Supreme Court of NSW as well as the Federal Court and High Court, Michael has been involved in litigation across all levels of first instance and appellate jurisdictions, including three appeal matters heard by the High Court.
