Simon Fraser is a partner in the property and development team. He practises primarily in commercial property and development and finance. Simon has experience in probate litigation and supervises the firm's probate work.
Simon also has expertise in commercial law, including general corporate advice, trade practices, business sales and acquisitions and superannuation.
Simon was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1976 and as a Public Notary of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1992. Simon joined CBP as a Partner in 1989. Simon worked out of the UAE offices of LutfiCBP for nine months from September 2009, particularly advising on the area of contractual disputes relating to property development.
He is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Society of Notaries of NSW. He has had a long involvement in the Urban Development Institute of Australia-NSW (UDIA) and for 2005-2008 was Chairman of its Planning and Tax Reform Committee.
