Greg Skehan began his professional career as a construction lawyer. Subsequently he moved into the insurance area with a diverse practice across all areas of insurance. This included construction risk, professional indemnity, directors & officers liability, accident, health, products, property and reinsurance. He is extremely experienced in all forms of commercial negotiation, litigation and alternate dispute resolution.

Under Greg's leadership the Insurance Group of CBP in Sydney was awarded the ALB Mettle Insurance Specialist Law Firm of the Year Award for 2008. Further, with Greg as senior partner, CBP advised many of Australia's largest corporations and government departments in all aspects involving property development, construction and infrastructure.

In more recent years, much of Greg's time has been devoted to advising a variety of clients on risk management, corporate governance, due diligence and a variety of commercial dealings. He is on the Board of a number of corporations and a Board adviser to others.

Greg is now based with LutfiCBP in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.  He continues to advise United Arab Emirates, Australian and other overseas clients on all aspects of risk management and commercial law. There is a particular emphasis on clients associated with the construction and development industry as well as financial organisations. In addition, Greg has an extensive practice advising clients on the UAE laws relating to land development.
