Our People
Martin Deutsch

Martin Deutsch is a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Group. For over twenty years, he has acted for a number of publicly listed and multinational corporations including shopping centre owners and managers, banks, insurers, manufacturers and various other commercial enterprises in relation to commercial disputes.
 
Martin is highly experienced in conducting litigation in all major Australian jurisdictions, including the High Court, Federal Court and Supreme Court of various states. His experience also extends to all forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation.
 
He has completed a course with the Dispute Resolution Centre at Bond University on how best to employ various methods of alternative dispute resolution to achieve commercial and cost effective solutions.
 
Martin was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1985.
 
Martin has specialist expertise in retail leasing and commercial property disputes and is a mediator on the panel of the Retail Tenancy Unit which oversees and conducts compulsory mediations under retail leasing legislation.
