Mark Radford is a partner in the Insurance Group of CBP. Widely recognised as one of the few experts in FSR, Mark's practice focuses on advising participants in the general and life insurance and financial advisory industries on the many legal issues affecting the operation of their businesses.
Mark has a reputation for providing practical, high quality, cost effective and innovative advice to clients and Chambers Global 2009 rated Mark as a Leader in Insurance.
Mark's expertise extends to acting for insurers, insurance brokers, insurance agents, premium funders, investment advisers and he represents the National Insurance Brokers' Association of Australia on issues affecting its members. He works closely with government and regulators such as Treasury, ASIC, ACCC and APRA in relation to authorisation/licensing, legislative changes, compliance breaches and development of Codes of Practice and Dispute Resolution facilities.
Mark has the benefit of a real commercial understanding of his clients, derived from having worked as the compliance manager for a major insurer. He is a regular commentator on issues relevant to the insurance industry in key industry publications.
Mark was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1990 and in WA in 2001.
Mark joined CBP as a partner in 2009.
