Our People
Alex Ostermayer

Alex Ostermayer is a partner in the Construction & Engineering Group and is an experienced construction, property and commercial lawyer.
 
Being fully conversant with financial and commercial matters, Alex specialises in project development and documentation, contract administration and dispute resolution advice. He is experienced in major infrastructure projects and the provision of construction, property and commercial services in South East Asia and the Middle East. In 2007 and 2008 Alex was CBP's Dubai resident partner and he continues to provide advice on Middle East projects and business opportunities.
 
Alex is a regular speaker on construction law related topics to the construction, architecture and engineering industries and has taught at the Australian National University, the University of Adelaide and the University of Technology Sydney.
 
Alex is admitted to practise in the Supreme Courts of NSW and VIC, Federal Court and High Court of Australia. Alex joined CBP as a partner in 1995.

Law Society of NSW, Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, Australian Institute of Company Directors, Facility Management Association of Australia and the Australian Business Council Dubai.
