Gopinath Krishnan is a partner in the Insurance Group. He specialises in insurance litigation, particularly in the defence of professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability, product liability and public liability claims. He has considerable experience in acting for insurers in class actions, proceedings involving multiple parties and major construction and engineering disputes.
Gopinath's experience also includes commercial litigation, motor vehicle, CTP, major claims and multiple-party litigation.
Gopinath was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1988 and as a barrister and solicitor in SA in 1990. He is admitted to practise in the Supreme Courts of NSW and SA, Federal Court and High Court of Australia. Gopinath joined CBP in 2001 and became a partner in 2004.
