Deborah Lazarus is a special counsel in the Insurance Group. Deborah practices predominantly in the area of insurance litigation and specialises in the defence of professional indemnity claims.

Deborah is experienced in alternative dispute resolution and has acted in many matters resolved by mediation and other ADR processes.

Deborah was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1992. She is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court and High Court of Australia, as well as the High Court of Zimbabwe. Deborah joined CBP in 1993.
