Tina Douglas is a senior associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Group and works with Peter Harkin in CBP's Insolvency team.
Tina has experience in all areas of insolvency law including personal and corporate insolvency. Tina acts for a number of Liquidators and Trustees as well as financial institutions and creditors. Tina's experience includes:
- acting and advising in relation to bankruptcy matters including the issuing of bankruptcy notices and creditor's petitions
- advising clients on all areas of corporate insolvency including preference claims, uncommercial transactions and deeds of company arrangements
- advising clients in relation to debt recovery matters
- acting for clients in winding up matters including the issuing of Statutory Demands and winding up applications
- advising liquidators and trustees on a wide variety of matters including voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangements and priorities
Tina was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2003. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia. She is also admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
