A partner in Colin Biggers & Paisley's insurance team since 1988, Paul started his career as a construction lawyer and works for contractors in civil engineering and construction disputes and for principals on large commercial construction ventures.
Paul acts for construction industry consultants, particularly architects and engineers instructed by their professional indemnity insurers. These cases range from large industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects to domestic dwellings. He has acted for other professions, instructed by their professional indemnity insurers, on directors' and officers' liability, construction risk insurance and property recovery claims. Paul has also drafted policies on home warranty insurance and professional indemnity.
Paul has acted as defence and coverage counsel in securities class actions.
