Philip Atkin as special counsel in the legal practice's insurance team in Melbourne.
Philip is highly skilled in managing building and construction disputes on behalf of his clients, which include professional indemnity insurers, builders warranty insurers, builders, engineers, architects, building owners and property developers. He has extensive experience acting in building defects and property damage claims, and regularly advises insurers and government authorities on matters relating to building and construction legislation and policy coverage issues.
Philip regularly appears for clients in private mediations and in Court ordered alternative dispute resolution settings, achieving excellent results.

The announcement follows the senior appointments last week of partner Glen Williams to the restructuring and insolvency team in Brisbane and partner Megan Bowe to the employment and safety team in Sydney.
