Colin Biggers & Paisley is very pleased to announce the appointment of partner, Glen Williams who has joined the growing practice in Brisbane.

Glen will be the lead partner in the Brisbane restructuring and insolvency team which is part of the broader corporate and dispute resolution group.

Glen has more than 20 years' experience in restructuring and insolvency, and commercial litigation, including banking and finance litigation, and has acted for administrators, liquidators and receivers and managers as well as the major banks and financial institutions. Glen also provides strategic advice to boards, companies and businesses regarding turnaround options and implementation.

The appointment reflects the practice's focus on building exceptional capability within their teams and to partner with their clients to deliver commercially focussed outcomes.

This is the third partner announcement for the legal practice in as many months. Managing Partner Nick Crennan said the practice was focussing on its key growth areas, including restructuring and insolvency and broadening its offering along the east coast.

"By building our strengths and capability in this area, we're positioning ourselves for tangible growth." Nick said.

"The appointment also reflects the commitment of the practice to bring people into the partnership with excellent leadership qualities."

Glen said he was delighted to be joining a national legal practice that has a strong presence in his areas of expertise.

"Colin Biggers & Paisley is well-known in the restructuring and insolvency space and they're growing. I think a key part of this is their innovative and pragmatic approach to delivering legal services."

The announcement follows the recent appointments of employment and safety partners Megan Bowe and Sara McRostie and special counsel Dimity Leahy and restructuring and insolvency senior associate Hannah Griffiths.
