Leading national law practice Colin Biggers & Paisley is once again set to expand its Employment and Safety team with the appointment of partner Megan Bowe, based in Sydney.

Megan has more than 10 years' experience in workplace and industrial relations law. She has assisted her clients across the entire employment life cycle from employee engagement, terms and conditions of employment and remuneration through to disciplinary and performance management processes and termination of employment.

Megan works across a diverse range of industries but has particular experience in the aged care industry. Investigating allegations of misconduct, including elder abuse, theft, discrimination, bullying and harassment and in enterprise bargaining.

Managing Partner Nick Crennan said Megan's appointment further strengthens the position of the team, recognised in the Legal 500 for its ‘speedy, knowledgeable and commercial’ practice and for the handling of a wide range of employment work.

"Megan's appointment follows closely behind Sara McRostie in Brisbane," Nick said.

"The team is growing nationally I'm particularly excited we continue to attract some of the most impressive talent to the practice and into partnership."

Speaking of her decision to join Colin Biggers & Paisley, Megan said she was looking forward to joining the national team,

"I'm particularly looking forward to working with the team. It's an interesting time for workplace relations, particularly given the impending election and the trend in employment-related class action litigation." Megan said.

This is Colin Biggers & Paisley's latest senior female appointment in its growing practice and follows the appointments of China Practice partner Connie Chen, employment and safety partner Sara McRostie, employment and safety special counsel Dimity Leahy and restructuring and insolvency senior associate Hannah Griffiths.
