Colin Biggers & Paisley announces new property partner

13 February 2017

Colin Biggers & Paisley has announced the appointment of partner, Lisa Lane, to the property and development team in its Melbourne office.

Lisa is a leading property lawyer with 10 years of experience covering a wide range of property transactions, including commercial, residential, industrial, retail and mixed use. As a committed property industry professional who began her career with a private developer managing one of Australia's largest privately owned asset portfolios, Lisa brings a unique perspective on client side challenges and the changing market landscape.

Chris Rumore, head of Colin Biggers & Paisley's property group, said that Lisa's addition to the team fits with the practice's strategy to further strengthen its property team nationally. "We are delighted to welcome Lisa to our growing team. Lisa's exceptional skills and expertise, along with her broad experience and breadth of her contacts in the property industry, will be of great benefit to our property practice in Melbourne."

"I am excited to make this move," explains Lisa on her decision to join the legal practice. "It's a great opportunity to join a firm so well established in the property industry and with a strong reputation for client service and expertise."

This is Colin Biggers & Paisley's latest senior appointment in its growing legal practice and follows the appointment of property partner Duane Keighran, and corporate and commercial special counsel, Dalvin Chien, both in November 2016. In the Melbourne office, Lisa's appointment follows the appointment of property partner, Richard Anderson, in October 2015.
