A member of the property and development team since 2016 and special counsel since 2022, Julia has over 15 years' experience in property and development.

Julia's practice focuses on all aspects of residential and mixed-use developments including off the plan and registered community title scheme developments and land subdivisions. This encompasses acquisition of the development site, development agreements, structuring advice, preparing contract and disclosure documents (including building management statements and community management statements), construction funding, sale of management rights, plan registration and supervising the conveyancing.

Julia has in-depth knowledge of Colin Biggers & Paisley's electronic contract exchange platform, CBP Exchange, and she was at the forefront of developing this platform for contract documents in Queensland.

Julia also has experience on a range of property transactions, including acquisitions, sales (including put and call option agreements), land due diligence and body corporate advice.

In 2017, Julia was listed in Doyle's Guide  as a Property and Real Estate Rising Star and in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2018.

In addition to her Bachelor of Laws, Julia holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Financial Economics. Julia was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2009 and is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.
