Colin Biggers & Paisley recognise top legal talent

Colin Biggers & Paisley today announced three internal promotions to partner, special counsel and senior associate, effective 1 January 2017.
Dan Yang has been promoted to partner in the corporate and commercial team. Dan brings with him a wealth of experienced in a wide range of corporate matters including private and public M&A, joint ventures, disposals and scheme of arrangements. He also jointly leads Colin Biggers & Paisley's growing China practice.
Managing partner, Dunstan de Souza said: “We are very proud of Dan's achievements. He represents everything our practice stands for – excellence in legal advice, service, systems and outcomes. The corporate and commercial team and our clients will continue to benefit from his expertise and leadership."
Debbie Kaminskas has been promoted to special counsel. She joined Colin Biggers & Paisley as a solicitor in 2006 and was promoted to senior associate in 2010. In her new role as special counsel, Debbie will work predominantly on public liability and professional indemnity claims within the healthcare industry.
The corporate team at Colin Biggers & Paisley is also strengthened by the promotion of Damien Gillespie to senior associate. Damien joined the legal practice in June 2012 as a solicitor in the corporate team.
