Colin Biggers & Paisley further builds its property and development team

4 July 2016
Colin Biggers & Paisley continues its expansion with the appointment of property and development partner, Peter Bournas.

Peter has rejoined Colin Biggers & Paisley after working at the legal practice from 2001 to 2007. Most recently, he has been working as the senior corporate lawyer for Sydney Airport responsible for all property, development and leasing matters at the airport.

Peter has close to 20 years of experience in property law with particular emphasis on property development, major projects, leasing, acquisitions and disposals and will significantly boost the legal practice's property and development expertise.

His appointment is a timely one, after Colin Biggers & Paisley announced its move from paper based contracts for large-scale property developments to e-conveyancing and just two months after hiring Brisbane based property and development partner, Rebecca Castley.

Head of Colin Biggers & Paisley's property and development team, Chris Rumore, has said "we are excited that Peter will be rejoining our team. We've had great success in the property industry to date and will further enhance that with the skills, expertise and experience Peter brings to the table."
