Colin Biggers & Paisley has announced the appointment of special counsel, Rachel Pie, to the construction and engineering team in its Brisbane office.
Rachel has over 20 years' experience in front-end construction and major projects, working on a variety of significant projects across the rail and transportation, energy and mining, building and construction, and infrastructure sectors.
Victor Borzillo, head of Colin Biggers & Paisley's Queensland construction and engineering team, said that Rachel's addition is in line with the practice's strategy to further strengthen its construction and engineering team nationally. "We are very pleased that Rachel is joining our growing team. She brings significant experience and expertise which will be of great benefit to not just our Brisbane team but to our construction and engineering practice nationally."
"Colin Biggers & Paisley is well known for its in-depth knowledge within the construction and engineering industry," said Rachel Pie about her decision to join the legal practice. "I am delighted to make this move and to work with such a well-respected team."
This is Colin Biggers & Paisley's latest senior appointment in its growing legal practice and follows the appointment of property partner
Lisa Lane in February this year, and property partner
Duane Keighran and corporate and commercial special counsel,
Dalvin Chien, both in November 2016. It is also the second senior appointment to the construction and engineering team since partner
