Colin Biggers & Paisley's property team continues to grow as they welcome two new special counsel in Brisbane

Colin Biggers & Paisley is pleased to announce the appointments of Special Counsel Natalie Humzy-Hancock and Allan Lonergan who have joined the legal practice's growing property team in their Brisbane office.

Natalie has nearly 13 years' experience working in the property industry. Her experience includes, advising major property developers and investors on transactions, issues and leasing across the commercial, retail and industrial property sectors. She also has a comprehensive understanding of the retirement villages sector having advised developers and operators on acquiring, establishing and operating facilities.

Allan has over 14 years' experience in property law and dispute resolution. He brings a unique perspective to his practice having worked in private practice, at the Queensland Bar and as General Counsel and Company Secretary of Racing Queensland. Allan has a property disputes practice, focusing on statutory land valuation matters, compulsory acquisition, resumption and compensation matters, mining land access and compensation matters, and the sale and purchase of land matters.

Last month, the Colin Biggers & Paisley property team in Brisbane held its first Property Think Tank for the year, where Westpac Senior Economist, Matthew Hassan spoke about his thoughts on Queensland's economic outlook and the implications for the property sector.
