Toby Norgate joins the legal practice's growing corporate and commercial team. He has more than 19 years' experience advising clients on a range of commercial activities with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, financial services and franchising.
He has extensive experience advising clients in all aspects of their commercial activities, including involvement with the technology, transport and financial services industries.
Toby’s experience also includes the co-proprietorship of his own law firm and senior in-house counsel legal experience, including four years co-managing the legal and market supervision teams at the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). This role gave him close involvement and insight into many of New Zealand’s biggest corporate transactions.
Managing Partner Nick Crennan welcomed Toby to the practice, making a particular note of his experience with securities and stock exchange regulators.
