National legal practice Colin Biggers & Paisley is bolstering its national employment and safety offering, appointing Adam Foster as a partner in Melbourne.

Adam has more than 10 years of experience providing his clients with advice on best practice workplace policies and frameworks in employment and industrial relations law. Adam helps his clients navigate the changes and issues that arise as employment and industrial relations laws change to ensure they have policies in place and are compliant from a regulatory perspective.

Adam is a 'workplace problem solver', and enjoys helping his clients find solutions to help improve workplace relationships to the benefit of the business and its employees.

Managing Partner Nick Crennan said Adam's extensive experience further strengthens the practice's capabilities within the education, construction, faith-based enterprise, not-for-profit and aged care sectors.

"Adam's appointment is a significant milestone for our practice as it reinforces our national offering and continues the growth of the Melbourne practice," Mr. Crennan said.

"I have no doubt that our clients, particularly those in the education sector, will benefit from Adam's extensive experience and insights."

Adam spoke about his new role, emphasising that the practice is well-regarded for its expertise in employment, work health and safety, and education law.

"Colin Biggers & Paisley's expertise, together with its collaborative culture and approach to solving clients' complex legal problems is why I'm delighted to be joining the practice," Mr. Foster said.

Adam commented that the move is also right for his clients.

"Colin Biggers & Paisley has a great reputation in the industry and their property and corporate and commercial teams are particularly impressive. I'm confident my clients in the education, construction, manufacturing and faith-based enterprise sectors will benefit from the practice's focus in these sectors."

"I am looking forward to collaborating with a team of highly capable people in the employment and safety team, namely Megan Kavanagh, Kristen Lopes and Greg McCann and the excellent team members working with them. Together, we will continue to partner with our clients to harness their workforces and achieve their goals."

The announcement follows the appointment of employment and safety senior associate Madonna Galeano and the promotion of Leanne Dearlove to special counsel.
