Amy is a senior associate in the corporate and dispute resolution team with a particular focus on employment and safety matters. 

She advises employers on compliance with workplace legislation and privacy obligations, drafts employment contracts, workplace policies and manuals, and assists them to manage terminations and redundancies, and investigate claims of discrimination, harassment, bullying and performance issues in the workplace.

Amy also has extensive experience in the litigation and dispute management of employment and safety matters. She acts on behalf of employers at mediation, conciliation, and compulsory conferences to ensure early and commercial settlement of claims. She also acts in and defends discrimination, sexual harassment, unfair dismissal, general protection and bullying claims made against employers in the Fair Work Commission, Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, Victorian Equal Opportunity Commission, and all federal and all Victorian courts and tribunals.

Amy acts for clients across a broad range of industries and sectors. This includes local councils, government entities, education providers, construction professionals, financial advisors, accountants, healthcare/pharmaceutical entitles and not for profits. 

Amy was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in May 2015. She joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2014.
