Briarna has been a member of the insurance team since 2016 and became a senior associate in 2022. Briarna has experience in general liability, professional indemnity, CTP and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Colin Biggers & Paisley, Briarna worked for three years at a large Australian insurer in a claims officer role, managing a portfolio of injury claims. This experience provided Briarna with a unique understanding of the operational side of insurance companies and enables her to tailor her claims management to assist clients in meeting their key performance indicators.
In her time at the legal practice, Briarna has assisted senior lawyers in managing a large portfolio of professional indemnity claims. Briarna has also undertaken two secondments with an Australian professional indemnity insurer client.
Briarna holds a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2016 and is also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia.
