Julian Peake Senior Associate

Julian Peake is a senior associate in the insurance and commercial dispute resolution teams. 

Julian started his career in the specialist areas of maritime and aviation law and subsequently moved into the areas of insurance law and commercial litigation. 

Julian provides advice and assistance in relation to a broad range of litigated, non-contentious, regulatory and commercial matters.  

He has particular experience in the areas of building and construction risk, professional indemnity insurance, directors' & officers' liability, employment practices liability, reinsurance, trade and transport, class actions and commercial litigation. 

Julian is an active member of a number of industry groups and is currently the Vice Chairman of the Sydney Marine Discussion Group.

Julian is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in addition to his Juris Doctor degree. 

Julian joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2015.
