Kathleena is a senior associate in the disputes and investigations team at Colin Biggers & Paisley.
Kathleena offers over a decade of broad experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency. Her areas of practice include contractual disputes, corporations law matters (including directors' disputes and shareholder oppression claims), property disputes, protection of confidential information and intellectual property, insolvency disputes and applications, debt recovery and enforcement. In recent times she has assisted in regulatory investigations and actions, and a Royal Commission inquiry.
Kathleena has specific expertise in project management of large-scale and complex litigation (multiple parties, multiple concurrent proceedings), as well as running urgent injunctions. She is known for handling high stress and time sensitive matters very well.
Kathleena is a natural litigator. She understands the importance of her role in supporting, guiding and advising a client during what is typically one of the most stressful times in their life. Clients appreciate her courage and tenacity, and her colleagues respect her for her reliability and trustworthiness.
Kathleena holds a Bachelor of Arts in addition to her Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2008. She is also admitted to the High Court of New Zealand.
Kathleena joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2021 as part of the Logie-Smith Lanyon merger team.
