Olivia works with a range of insurers and other clients to defend claims involving public liability, professional indemnity and property damage.
Overview
She takes time to understand the insured and their operations to ensure the advice and approach to claims is tailored to their distinct needs.
Olivia has acted strata corporations, host employers, construction contractors, private schools, landlords, sporting clubs, cleaning contractors, lawyers, architects, mortgage brokers, accountants and individuals in the defence of general liability and professional indemnity claims. She also undertook a short term secondment to a specialist strata insurer giving her first hand insights into the workings of a claim teams.
Olivia has defended various matters before the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW, and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She has also been involved in matters before the Supreme Court of Victoria and in NSW Coronial Inquests.
Olivia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts. She was admitted to practice in New South Wales 2018. She was named as a finalist in the Rising Star category of the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards in both 2021 and 2022 and in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in 2021.
