A partner since 2022, Katherine is a member of Colin Biggers & Paisley's disputes and investigations team and an integral member of the digital governance, cyber and privacy team.  

Katherine has 15 years' experience in commercial litigation and disputes and is a well-rounded litigator in a number of legal areas, with expertise in:

  • commercial and insurance disputes
  • Australian Consumer Law matters
  • complex litigation involving financial crime and bribery
  • cybercrime and fraud 
  • employment litigation

Working extensively in large-scale litigation, Katherine has acted for a range of clients including private and public corporations, financial institutions, fin-tech companies, insurers and high net worth individuals. 

She worked at Colin Biggers & Paisley for seven years before spending four years in Hong Kong in the commercial litigation team at Gall Solicitors, a specialist dispute resolution law firm. Hong Kong, as a financial hub, saw a large portion of her work involve fraud and cybercrimes. When Katherine returned to Australia in 2020, she re-joined Colin Biggers & Paisley. 

Katherine has a Master of Law and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Arts Communication. In 2008 she was admitted to practice in the NSW Supreme Court, the Federal Courts and High Court of Australia. In 2016 she was admitted to the Hong Kong High Court. 

Having lived in Hong Kong for five years, Katherine has developed a strong love for travel, and drags her family along with her for the adventure.
