Zoe is a Senior Associate within the Insurance and Disputes and Investigations teams at Colin Biggers & Paisley.
Zoe started her career in insurance law and has experience in professional indemnity insurance, directors' & officers' liability, employment practices liability, reinsurance and subrogated recoveries.
Zoe has particular experience in governance and corporate risk management, including defamation advice and litigation, as well as advising corporate and government clients on reputational issues, including managing threats of litigation, pre-publication advice and advising on Independent Commission Against Corruption Inquiries.
Zoe also provides advice and assistance in relation to a broad range of litigated, commercial and regulatory matters, including class action and building and construction litigation.
Zoe is experienced across all levels of first instance and appellate jurisdictions, including in the NSW Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Australia and applications for special leave to appeal to the High Court, and has acted for clients in NSW, ACT, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
Zoe is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. Zoe has a combined bachelor degree in Communications (Journalism) and Laws (Hons).
