Laura has been a member of Colin Biggers & Paisley's insurance team since 2014 and became special counsel in 2022. 

Laura has experience in professional indemnity, public liability, and general liability claims. Laura acts in a variety of claims primarily involving personal injury and property damage and industrial diseases (asbestos) claims. 

Laura has significant expertise in professional indemnity claims, assisting a range of organisations and associations. Her clients include sporting clubs, car park managers, building managers, builders, head contractors and cleaning contractors. 

Alongside her general expertise, Laura has a particular interest in medical malpractice claims. She represents various allied health professionals, assisting them to respond to complaints and investigations brought against them by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Health Complaints Commissioner. Additionally, Laura defends litigated negligence claims and responds to coronial Inquests.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts. She was admitted as a solicitor in Victoria in 2013 and has appeared in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Court in Victoria. She is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court and High Court of Australia.
