Lauren Piscioneri is a senior associate in the insurance practice in Melbourne.
Lauren's practice focuses on employment practices liability, occupational health and safety and managing ill and injured workers. She also has extensive experience reviewing financial lines insurance policies (including public liability, EPL and management liability), negotiating settlements, advising on indemnity claims and liaising with insurers, insureds and brokers.
Lauren regularly advises government, insurers and corporate clients in relation to issues arising with human capital including:
- employment contracts
- best practice workplace relations
She is also engaged to provide advice to government and private insurers (liability and quantum analysis as well as reserving) in relation to WorkCover (Accident Compensation Act 1985/Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 and public liability claims (Wrongs Act 1958).
She has a Bachelor of Laws in addition to her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Masters of Social Work and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology).
Lauren was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014.
She joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2019.
