Courtney is a senior associate in Colin Biggers & Paisley's restructuring and insolvency team, within the broader commercial and dispute resolution team in the Brisbane and Sydney offices.
Courtney has experience in numerous aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Since her admission as a solicitor, she has practiced primarily in insolvency and restructuring, acting for liquidators, bankruptcy trustees and financial institutions.
She is experienced in litigating in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of Queensland and New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia.
Courtney has worked on a number of complex, multi-party dispute resolution and litigation matters in Queensland and New South Wales. She has also advised on asset sales and negotiations for insolvency practitioners and has developed strategies and advised on particular restructuring and insolvency issues for a broad range of clientele, including insolvency practitioners, government agencies (including the Department of Jobs and Small Business), financial institutions, mid-tier lenders, landlords and retailers.
She is a dedicated resource in respect of complex disputes concerning personal property.
In addition to her Bachelor of Laws (Honours), she has a Bachelor of International Relations (Diplomacy) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She has also completed the Advanced Certification of Insolvency and Restructuring (ARITA).
She joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2017.
