A member of the insurance team since 2020, and senior associate since 2023, John's practice focuses on insurance litigation, acting for clients in a range of disputes and coverage related instructions in the financial services and construction industries.
John regularly acts as defence counsel for professionals, including engineers, financial advisors, barristers, private certifiers, building and pest inspectors, fabricators, valuers, and real estate agents.
John also provides coverage advice to local and international insurers, on directors' and officers' insurance, professional indemnity insurance and construction risk. His coverage experience extends to monitoring and advising clients on large scale disputes, including class actions.
In addition to his Bachelor of Law, John holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in international business. He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2019.
