A member of the insurance team since 2020 and a senior associate since 2023, Megan's practice focuses on general liability personal injury and workers' compensation claims. Megan has acted for statutory insurers, and national and Queensland-based insurers.
Megan also works across special issues claims such as historical abuse and dust diseases. She has experience in managing litigated claims before the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland.
Megan has experience acting for clients operating in industries such as education, aged and disability care, retail, manufacturing, transport, logistics, labour hire, mining, construction, hospitality and not-for-profit services.
Her approach to working with clients involves establishing a personal connection and rapport, which she finds crucial for better negotiations.
In addition to her Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Megan holds a Bachelor of Media and Communication and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Megan was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2018 and is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.
Outside of work, Megan has a passion for travel and enjoys being immersed in other cultures.
