Celebrating a year of impact: Introducing our 2025 Pro Bono & Community Impact Report

The 2025 Pro Bono & Community Impact Report captures a year of progress, collaboration, and shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities we work with.

From providing critical legal support to vulnerable clients, to fundraising, and volunteering alongside our charity partners, the report reflects the compassion, commitment, and purpose embodied by our people.

A highlight of the year was being named Pro Bono Program of the Year at the Australian Law Awards, a recognition of the strength of our pro bono practice, the depth of our community partnerships, and the impact of our initiatives. Projects like the Victim/Survivors of Violence Project, our First Nations Wills Clinics, and our collaboration with LawRight and Women’s Legal Services continue to facilitate access to justice for those who need it most.

We recently came together to support our major charity partner, the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, through the Steps for Stories fundraiser. Colleagues across the firm pledged to walk 125,000 steps over eight days, raising funds and awareness to improve access to culturally appropriate literacy materials for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in remote communities across Australia.

As a practice, we raised over $20,000 to help provide essential books, literacy resources, and language programs in these communities. This work would not be possible without the passion and partnership of our people, our community organisations, and stakeholders. Thank you to all those who contributed.
