Adrian is a partner in Colin Biggers & Paisley's Disputes and Investigations team. Adrian has extensive experience acting in defence of class actions and complex commercial disputes.
Adrian has acted in some of Australia's major securities, employment and product liability class actions. In 2020, The Legal 500 recognised the practice's expertise in Dispute Resolution: Class actions.
He also has considerable experience in matters arising from contractual disputes, corporate collapses and financial services.
In 2021, Adrian was listed as a Litigation Rising Star by Lawyerly, which recognises lawyers under the age of 40 for their work in high stakes litigation.
Adrian's recent experience includes the following matters:
Dick Smith: defending two securities class actions concerning disclosures associated with the company's initial public offering and accounting disclosures;
RCR Tomlinson: defending securities class actions concerning disclosures in connection with various solar projects and the company's capital raising;
Spotless: defending a securities class action regarding disclosures associated with earnings guidance;
Downer: defending a securities class action in respect of disclosures in the Waratah Train project;<
Chandler MacLeod: defended a class action brought regarding alleged entitlements at the Mt Arthur coal mine; and
Equititrust: defending proceedings brought against the company concerning investment management and alleged breaches of statutory and equitable duties.
Adrian has degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Law, and is currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration.
Adrian was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and the Federal Courts in 2011. He joined the legal practice as a paralegal in 2008.
