Ben has been a member of the disputes and investigations team since 2017 and became a senior associate in 2023.
He has experience acting in large-scale litigation and complex matters involving corporate collapses, class actions, insurance, copyright, and competition (antitrust).
Ben's recent experience includes:
- Acting for Dick Smith in the defence of two securities class actions concerning disclosures associated with the Dick Smith's initial public offering and accounting disclosures.
- Acting for RCR Tomlinson in the defence of a securities class actions concerning disclosures in connection with various solar projects and the company's capital raising.
- Acting for Spotless in the defence of a securities class action regarding disclosures associated with earnings guidance.
Ben has degrees in Law and Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Wollongong.
In 2019 Ben was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW as well as the Federal Court and High Court.
