Catherine has a strong foundation in insurance litigation, with a particular focus on professional standards, institutional abuse, and liability claims.
Overview
Catherine provides advice on complex and sensitive indemnity issues, including revisit claims and matters involving molestation exclusions, as well as bullying and harassment within educational institutions. Catherine works closely with stakeholders to lead negotiations and drive the strategic resolution of high-value and complex claims.
She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded the TAC Prize for Advocacy. In addition, she holds qualifications in Criminology and Biomedical Science, offering a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective on forensic and trauma-related matters.
Catherine was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria on 19 September 2017.
