A senior associate in the insurance team since 2021, David's practice focuses on dispute resolution and mediation.
David has extensive experience in managing complex and sensitive legal claims on a range of issues including personal injury, coverage and reinsurance. He has managed a large portfolio of litigated claims across all Australian jurisdictions and has an established track record of achieving satisfactory outcomes in high quantum claims that have an interplay of issues surrounding indemnity, causation, contribution and liability.
David has also represented defendants in litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents. His clients include insurers, religious and not-for-profit organisations.
In addition to his Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Legal Practice, David also holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in international business. David was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2016, and is admitted as a Victorian Legal Practitioner.
David is also passionate about giving back and paying it forward and has been involved in pro bono legal clinics and has assisted people seeking asylum in Australia.
