Shea is a corporate and commercial lawyer with substantial experience in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Overview
Shea has worked on a high volume of small to mid-market private and public M&A transactions involving institutional, PE, or non-bank financiers across a range of industries. His experience includes independently running smaller transactions from cradle to grave, while also working in larger teams on larger transactions.
Shea has also worked on a number of share issues, equity financing deals and joint ventures in the hospitality, tourism, real estate and automotive industry.
Shea holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago. He was admitted as a solicitor in New Zealand in September 2020 and in New South Wales in May 2025. He holds a current practicing certificate in both New Zealand and New South Wales.
