A Senior Associate in Colin Biggers & Paisley’s Brisbane Construction & Engineering team, Stephanie advises on front-end and back-end construction matters, supporting national and international principals, developers, contractors and subcontractors across project documentation, dispute resolution and project risk issues.
Overview
Stephanie is an experienced construction and litigation lawyer who primarily advises on drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, as well as dispute resolution, litigation and regulatory compliance across infrastructure, commercial and residential projects.
Stephanie provides strategic legal advice on risk management and legal issues across the full project lifecycle, including major projects, building and construction, security matters and associated commercial disputes. Her recent experience includes procurement strategy, contract negotiation, security of payment proceedings, development projects and Supreme Court litigation, as well as secondment experience working alongside commercial and project teams.
Stephanie was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, Gold Coast. Stephanie is also a member of the Queensland Law Society.
