A partner since 2017, Tim is joint leader of Colin Biggers & Paisley's disputes and investigations team and has expertise in litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Tim has expertise in handling significant commercial disputes and has extensive experience in representing clients in court proceedings and arbitration, as well as the early resolution of matters by mediation, neutral evaluation and direct negotiation.

He has worked on various commercial litigation cases for a diverse range of clients, including international corporations, insurers, construction and engineering companies, small businesses, associations, and individuals. 

With over 15 years of experience as a commercial litigation lawyer, Tim has successfully dealt with large and complex cases involving contract disputes, negligence cases, shareholder claims and trust disputes.

Tim also has experience in intellectual property and has acted on a range of copyright, trade mark and patent disputes and related issues in the Federal Court and Supreme Court. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science which gives him a unique understanding of the issues that can arise in technology-related disputes.

Tim also holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws. He was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2003. He is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court and High Court of Australia. Tim joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2007.
