Colin Biggers & Paisley announces new Special Counsel

Colin Biggers & Paisley is pleased to announce the appointment of Special Counsel, Phi Vo who has joined the legal practice's corporate dispute resolution team in Brisbane. She will work with our teams and clients nationally.

Phi is a Registered Migration Agent and has been working in the immigration services industry for over ten years'. She is an experienced and trusted advisor in delivering advice and commercially focused solutions to Australian and International companies on immigration and visa matters. 

Phi's main areas of expertise include delivering strategic and planning advice to established and newly established businesses who require guidance on compliance and visa requirements, and resolution of complex immigration and visa issues. Phi provides advisory support to employers who require assistance with mobilising their workforce and filling skills shortages. Phi has assisted in structuring in house programs on visas and compliance, and has developed and managed specialist immigration projects such as exchange visas for Global Mobility Programs, Training and Research Visas and transfer of 457 visa holders to new legal entities. Phi also assists clients with immigration and visa compliance issues, such as managing responses to alleged breaches of 457 sponsor obligations to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. 

Megan Kavanagh, Partner in the Corporate Dispute Resolution team says that Phi's appointment is a great new addition to the Brisbane team,
