Andrew Komesaroff is a partner in the corporate and commercial team, acting as its lead partner in the practice’s Melbourne office. He has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of commercial activities, with a particular focus on the education, energy and resources, manufacturing and forestry sectors.
His clients include major Australian corporates and institutions as well as international businesses with extensive interests in Australia. He acts as a trusted advisor to these clients, working collaboratively with them to advise them on their major projects and ventures. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, commercial contracts, major projects, capital raisings and managing compliance within complex regulatory frameworks.
Andrew incorporates an astute commercial perspective and expertise in the challenges and solutions he provides to corporate and commercial enterprises, delivering decisive and assured advice to his clients. He has developed this style as a result of his earlier roles, which include proprietorship of his own legal firm and a partnership at a national firm, as well as senior in-house counsel experience.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in addition to his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Master of Laws degrees. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Andrew is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association.
