Charlie Morshead Senior Associate

Charlie Morshead is a senior associate in the insurance team.

Charlie works predominantly on matters relating to public liability and professional indemnity claims, particularly where litigation has commenced. This has included acting for lawyers, education institutions and religious institutions in both large-scale litigation and smaller claims. He also has expertise in alternative dispute resolution, assisting clients in the early resolution of their matters.

Charlie has experience in general litigation in all Victorian Courts, as well as the Federal Court and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Previously, Charlie undertook an associateship at the Supreme Court of Victoria, where he gained particular experience in litigation involving personal injuries and asbestos exposure, as well applications for judicial review.

In addition, Charlie currently works closely with the Pro Bono and Responsible Business Group in acting on pro bono matters, and is a member of the Advisory Group for the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation. He has also gained experience in a diverse range of areas through his ongoing work with community legal centres.

Charlie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), as well as a Bachelor of Arts, and was admitted to practice in Victoria in 2013.
