Andrew Murray is a partner in the construction and engineering team. His main areas of practice include construction contract drafting and the resolution of construction disputes through litigation and alternative dispute resolution approaches.

Andrew has extensive commercial litigation experience and has conducted construction and general commercial litigation in the Federal, Supreme and District Courts, including the Supreme Court's specialist commercial and technology and construction lists. Andrew provides advice to principals, contractors and subcontractors on contract documentation and project risk.

In the 2019-2023 editions of The Best Lawyers in Australia, Andrew is listed as a leading Construction and Infrastructure lawyer. In the 2022 and 2023 editions, Andrew is listed for his expertise in alternative dispute resolution. In 2020, Doyle's Guide recognised Andrew as a recommended Front End Construction, Infrastructure and Major Projects Lawyer in NSW.

In 2018, Andrew received a doctorate from the University of Sydney for his thesis on reforming the law relating to legal professional privilege in the context of expert evidence.

Andrew was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2000 and joined the legal practice in 2010.
