Kerry is a senior associate in the corporate and dispute resolution practice. Kerry has experience in both advisory work and litigation, with expertise in employment law and industrial relations.
He assists clients in broad range of industries, including insurance, manufacturing, aged care, education, retail, charity collection, hospitality, construction and shipping.
Kerry has experience advising on workplace compliance on a diverse range of issues, such as underpayments, emerging forms of work, general protections and the liability of accessories to breaches of workplace laws, including corporate accessories in franchising and supply chain contexts. Some of these matters have attracted significant media attention.
He also acts on behalf of clients in a range of workplace disputes arising during employment, as well as upon the termination of employment, including restraint of trade, general protections and unfair dismissal claims. Kerry also has experience conducting workplace investigations for clients. He is a skilled advocate and has experience appearing in both state and federal courts. Kerry was admitted to practice as a solicitor in NSW in 2014 after completing his legal studies at the University of New South Wales. Kerry also completed a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney in 2017 and joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2018.
