A partner in Colin Biggers & Paisley’s Property & Development team, Stephen joined the practice in 2022 and brings more than ten years of experience across all aspects of property and development law. He advises clients on a wide range of transactional and advisory matters, delivering practical and commercially focused outcomes.
Overview
Stephen works with property developers, private clients, owners corporations, and bodies corporate. He focuses on understanding his clients' goals and achieving commercial results.
Stephen excels in advising on mixed-use, residential, and commercial property projects. His skills include drafting and negotiating property contracts, conducting due diligence, advising on titling structures, handling off-the-plan sales, and managing large-scale project conveyancing. He also provides guidance under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (Qld) and the Land Sales Act 1984 (Qld).
Stephen was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Finance). He has been recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Australia every year from 2024 to 2027 for his expertise in Real Property Law and for Leasing Law in 2024 and 2027.
